SKW YOUTH TOURNAMENT 2010

Under 7
Rules of the competition:

1.    4 field players and one goal keeper comprise a team (5 @ side)
2.    9 players may be nominated per team with no limit to substitutes to be used per game (1st, 2nd and 3rd place will receive medals)
3.    No offside / back-pass rule apply.
4.    Play on small field with small goals.
5.    No player may turn 8 years of age in 2010. NB: Age is as per calendar year. Birth certificates of all players must be on hand and need to be present should it be required. Teams cheating on age will not be invited again.
6.    Duration of matches: 2 x 7 minutes with no halftime (immediate changeover).
7.    No player may shift from one team to another in the same group or from one group to the next group, unless allowed by tournament organiser.
8.    Different colours are to be worn by a, b teams.
9.    All clubs shall have bibs on hand in the event of clash of colour.
10.    Teams are to be ready 5 minutes before commencement of their scheduled game at the centre line.
11.    Teams not ready at commencement of their scheduled game will forfeit the points; the opposing team will receive 3 points and 2:0 score. (Friendly “out of competition” may be played for remainder of scheduled time).
12.    Mode of play will be on a league basis with positions to be determined by most points – direct result – goal difference – goals scored – penalties (best of five, then sudden death).
13.    Teams, which do not honour their commitments, will not be invited again!
14.    Rulings of the tournament coordinator are final.
15.    Presentation will be at approximately 16H00 at the Fist Ball field.


Under 11
Rules of the competition:

1.    Unless otherwise stated, all FIFA rules apply
2.    16 players may be nominated per team with no limit to substitutes to be used per game. A substituted player may not play in the same match again
3.    Every team must hand in a team list of their players with the correct dress number, which may not be changed for the course of the tournament.
4.    Adjusted size field , 11 @ side
5.    Two yellow cards (in one game i.e. yellow / red) or at any stage of the tournament – one game suspension.
6.    Straight red cards – one games suspension
7.    Any physical violence / aggressive behaviour during a match will result in immediate disqualification of the team responsible for the incidence.
8.    No player may turn 12 years of age in 2010. (Birth certificates of all players must be on hand and need to be present should it be required)
9.    Duration of matches: 2 x 20 minutes with halftime of 3 Minutes
10.    No player may shift from one team to another in the same group or from one group to the next group, unless allowed by tournament organiser.
11.    Team are to be ready 5 minutes before commencement of their scheduled match at the centre line.
12.    Teams not ready at commencement of their scheduled match will forfeit the points (opposing team will receive 3 point; 2:0 result). (Friendly “out of competition” may be played for remainder of scheduled time).

Medals for the first three placed teams (Gold, Silver, Bronze). Winning team gets a big Cup which must be returned after the price-giving and a small cup which they keep forever.
16.    B-Group: Mode of play will be on a league basis at group level with positions to be determined by most points – direct result – goal difference – goals scored – penalties (best of five, then sudden death). ONLY the winners receive medals (No Cup)
17.    Rulings of the tournament coordinator are final.
18.    Presentation will be at approximately 13h15 on Sunday at main stands of SKW A field.
